PISO

KATUWAAN PART1

Our co officemate Jerome was asking for a peso bill, we were laughing as he plead and beg on us just to spare him some cents. He was saying he ‘has no money for his fare’, it took him quite long before he convinced us, and got to grasp those cents in his hands, he almost asked half of our development team members, and hes lucky to get nine pesos and fifty cents…(more or less) and in return he send a ‘piece’ he just created…a poem…nice isn’t it?! Cant help laughing, if u would only see his face, his eagerness to collect those cents,,,this is just ‘katuwaan’ we had for this day, Thanks to Jerome he made us laugh for a moment when nobody seems to smile either because of too much deadlines at work ….Below is the poem he created as his way of saying ‘thank you’

PISO
salamat sa inyong piso,
kahit d taos sa inyong puso;
dahil sa mga baryang ito,
ako'y binuhay ninyo.
nais ko sanang ihandog,
ang aking natatanging alindog;
kapalit ng pisong inyong inalay,
na pambili ko po ng isang tinapay.
ngunit aking napagtanto,
na maaring kulang pa ito;
kaya't sana'y ipagpaumanhin nyo,
ang kalokohan kong ito.
sana'y bukas ang inyong piso,
mdagdagan man lang kahit singko;
nang ang sangbayanang Pilipino,
ay magbigay na rin po.
